After more than 20 years working as a professional in several rice vermicelli manufacturers; Tan Pia Sioe set up Perusahaan Bihun Cap Cangak Ular in Sukoharjo, Central Java to manufacture corn vermicelli with visions to produce quality food at affordable price to the consumers.

Tan Pia Sioe passed away, and the company was handed over to Priyo Hadisutanto as the heir.

Under the helm of Priyo Hadisutanto, production process was modernized with the purchase of imported machineries and became market leader in Central Java and Yogyakarta.

PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera was established in Sukoharjo, Central Java by the third generation to produce rice vermicelli and dried noodle, and soon began to expand its distribution network.

Built a new factory in Karang Anyar, Central Java in anticipation of the ever-growing market demand.

Commenced the construction of a 25-ha, Integrated Food Industry in Sragen, Central Java, with completion scheduled in 2003 to unite the whole plants into one location in anticipation of future growth and production efficiency.

• Started the factory relocation to the new built plant in Sragen.
• Entering the Consumer Food Products by building an instant noodle production unit, with production and marketing commencing in early 2002.

• Implementing sophisticated management systems to achieve sustainable improvements in productivity and efficiency.
• Awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification.

Became a publicly listed company in Jakarta Stock Exchange through acquisition of PT. Asia Inti Selera, Tbk. the market leader for Egg Noodle with the Ayam 2 Telor brand.

• Entered candy and biscuits market through acquisition of PT. Polymeditra Indonesia, the market leader for tamarind candy with Gulas brand.
• Awarded the HACCP certification.

Changing the old logo with the new one as a symbol of PT.Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food,Tbk.'s new spirit.
